This plugin is designed to allow users to create a custom SVG map that can then be inserted in a page or post, using the Datamaps JavaScript framework. Via the plugin’s settings page

Upload wp-datamaps to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Go to the ‘Map Settings’ page in the Admin and set the colors and size of the map.
Insert the shortcode [d3map] on the page or post where you want the map to appear.
